This was taken at our old house in the fall of 2008. There was a creek nearby and the beaver(s?) 'took care' of quite a few trees.

Sweet Sabrina

Sabrina was adopted by my husband and me from the Ocean County Animal Shelter in January of 1996. She was a dog just looking for someone to love her. At first, she was a little 'rambunctious', however, eventually she settled down. Sabrina never met a person she didn't like. Sabrina was such a sweet, loving girl who was happy just to be with her family.
She got ill in November and never recovered, crossing the Rainbow Bridge on December 27, 2009. She is deeply missed. Two weeks after Sabrina passed away, Carmel went to be with her sister.

Shelby was adopted from a Border Collie Rescue, (Glen Highland Farm) in NY in December of 2001. Shelby is a sweet girl who loves to nibble on your nose. She is shy around men. Shelby loves to be outside and look through the trees and see the neighbor's horses.

I adopted Carmel from the Ocean County Animal Shelter in October of 1994. Carmel was scared of almost everything when she was adopted. Carmel didn't trust most men, but loved her dad. Carmel was grateful for the love and warm home she was given.
Carmel had a rough June this past year, but recovered. After her sister Sabrina crossed the Rainbow Bridge, Carmel must have heard Sabrina calling her. Carmel crossed the Bridge two weeks after Sabrina on January 10, 2010. She is deeply missed also.

These are the geese that were around in the 1990's when I lived on the Rancocas Creek. The swans and geese were either waiting for me in the morning or would fly over when they saw Bear in the yard. They knew that they were going to get fed.
This was a photo I had taken with my Minolta SLR camera and I scanned the photo.
