One from the archives that I got round to playing with today - I like the sky in the reflection.

The following lyrics from Genesis (excerpt from the song Ripples) fit well, I think:

Viewed from this angle, this rock formation reminded me of a huge turtle heading to the sea - this in turn reminded me of the track by the French jazz/fusion violinist Jean Luc Ponty, hence the title.

A very moving memorial to the 240 French soldiers who died in captivity in Darmstadt during WW1. It shows a mortally wounded soldier looking back to a relief of his family and the female figure of France. May it never happen again.

Like somthing out of a bad dream - this rock formation at Les Rochers in St.Guénolé, France, really looks like a hippo from this angle. Perhaps I'd just been hitting the wine too much the night before...

The fishing boat Jacana leaving the harbour of Guilvinec in Brittany. Guilvinec has the largest ocean-going fleet in all of France (130 boats), and when the boats return at around 5:30 pm, it is a real spectacle to watch the fresh catch being unloaded. Then you go into the fish halls and buy seafood that is still wriggling.

Taken on a foggy day in the harbour of St.Guénolé. It was just before Christmas and no boats were going out. Everything was very quite, apart from the slap of the water on the hulls and the seagulls wheeling overhead

Taken directly into the setting sun with extreme camera settings. On the harbour wall at St.Guénolé, France. Whatever you do, don't look through the viewfinder if you want to attempt this kind of shot.
