Yeah, we had a good one pulled on us by good old Mother Nature. A major winter storm and it's still snowing and blowing. But, I've decided that this is the last "winter spring" image I am going to post.........it can only go up from here, right! I'm thinking positive. Truthfully, it's gotten so ridiculous I'm not even mad anymore. I like to think I take a joke pretty well. I guess you have to if you live in northern Wisconsin! ;~)

It seems as though Winter does not want to end as we are still blanketed in white. I guess the Easter Bunny will have to be a Snowshoe Rabbit this year. :~)

I hope you are all well and staying healthy. I'm sorry for my absence, but I have been very busy making up for time lost while my hand healed. I no longer have any restrictions and just need to continue with strengthening.

PS The thumb is a LOT better. No more hard cast at night, but no lifting for a couple more weeks after some strengthening. Thanks for all your well wishes and support!

Happy Monday! Does anyone know why the windmill is on top of this little building? I've seen this a couple of times here and really haven't noticed it anywhere else. Was this a common thing? Maybe someone out there knows.......

Lynn Update: I'm still in my cast on my left hand,what a pain! I have driven a couple times just locally, not ideal……….I go back tomorrow though, hopefully I can go to just a splint.

I have gone by this place so many times and never got a shot of it before. With the snow it reminded me of a Gingerbread house. :^) I don't know if it's been abandoned or not, but it looks like it must have been a pretty cool place.

Most of our leaves are gone now, replaced by the gray bleakness of November. Even though we did no have a warm Indian Summer in October, the color this year was gorgeous!

As night closed in the moon looked even larger against the dark sky and now wisps of mist swirled through strange light giving the sky an eerie appearance. Well, at least the moon lit up the road even though all she could really see above the dry cornstalks was the silhouettes of the trees now stripped bare of their leaves and of course those crows that seemed to be following her. She paused, what was that noise.....................God, she wished she hadn't read so many Stephen King novels.................... youtu.be/7bQwin3Vv0k
