English country lane in snow

With Poppy still being a Puppy this time last year.
I had her off the lead as there wasn't any livestock. I hadn't counted for possible traffic though and she did go running down this lane after a 4x4 till the driver noticed and kindly stopped whilst I retrieved her.

I've more winter shots from the past month (Nov 2010) or so than you could wave a large icy stick at.
This was actually from the end of November just showing how long this cold snap has lasted. Not that anyone in the UK needs reminding ;D

I had to travel to find some snow to photograph on Monday but this morning we had a couple of inches and all looked beautiful.....slight snag ...I had to go to work...
It is snowing hard again tonight so I'm hoping it will stay around till next weekend :-)

This barn I found back in May 2009 and at the time I said I would return.....it only took me 18 months to get back there ;D
It was harder than I thought to photograph as from all angles it looked like it was leaning then I concluded that it actually was leaning!
I've dozens of shots of both the outside and inside so I'll try and be selective of the better ones.

Out of all the pics I took over the weekend this one of is my favourite. There is a simple rustic charm about it which appealed to me.
I think the building with the corrugated roof is an old railway carriage.

The mixed bag of weather does make for more variety of photographic opportunities. I was however a rather damp Andy with a soggy doggy by the time I got back to the car.
