Taken in August 2005 at the end of a short month in Iceland. This was the last exploration my friend and I took on our last Sunday drive and it was perfect. Takes your breathe away when seen in person.

This is in Vientiane, Laos. Taken with my Lomo. This camera really surprises me
sometimes. Not a cheap camera but it can sometimes do a really good job. This is one of my favorites from my trip to SE Asia in Jan 06'

Oh, and this is Vientiane, Laos right across from the Mekong River.

I lived in through the window on the left on the second floor. My rent was 150 dollars. It was an awful place. This is the mid 90's in Austin, TX.

Additional notes:

The house still stands somehow, I just went by there in Dec 2006. It should be torn down. There was a horrible mice problem then which probably still exists....

Dressed inflatable bodies used as fallen WWII soldiers on a film production shot in Iceland. Faces, helmets, and boots are added after they are placed for each particular shot.

On the set of a WWII movie filmed in Iceland. Inflatable bodies used to emulate real soldiers.

Our staging area. A few water dolls to be used as floating dead marines in a recreation of the famous battle of Iwo Jima. We called them water dolls which are actually inflatable body parts rigged together in uniforms and filled with the right amount of water to sink the way a real person would. It took a week to build 30 of these due to the rigging of all of the components, lack of sleep, and endless trouble shooting... Pain in the ass but worth every minute of it. This was taken with a Horizon s3 panoramic camera.
