Mom was in her early 70s and the aunts a few years younger. We stayed at youth and family hostels and did a circle drive around the entire country. It was fabulous and although my mom is now frail and won't travel much anymore my aunt Kay may want to go back at some time. I would love to go with her. I absolutely am thrilled! The feed dogs pull the fabric through like a hot knife through butter. Something is up with the feed dogs on my Bernina. The sound of this machine is great. Now I can take my Bernina in for servicing and still have a machine! This one is lighter too so it will be easier to take on adventures. It has a sturdy cover that goes over the whole thing. It did not come with a manual and is very different than the Bernina. I watched a few videos! I couldn't find the lever for the presser foot but it was right there. I keep reaching behind the machine after I sew! It is pretty bold. I can tone it down by adding more tan blocks. I meant to finish some yellow blocks today but the orange just kept shouting out to me!
