The creases of the skin outward from the eyes from squinting and stress, the harsh sun and rough conditions that a warfighter endures. To follow the orders given, carry out the mission assigned, and accomplish the goals, no matter of personal feelings, is the job of a Marine. The stress they carry on their shoulders from that point on will be with them forever.

Subject is 26 years old, recently honorably discharged combat Marine.

As the morning sun begins to appear over the horizon, the most amazing of colors do appear. From blues to pinks, purples and reds, the sky ignites with the pallet of morning. The lights of night begin to fade, receding until the darkness comes again.

A different perspective of Denver. I am attempting to explore new areas to capture the city at night and find points to shoot from.

This photo was taken from the Tivoli Center at Metro. I used a ND8 filter to help diminish the light glare.
