Found this little gem in the archives when I was trialling the new version of Lightroom 3. Took this last last year up at Caloundra.

Nikon D300s - Processed in Lightroom 3 and final tweaks using Topaz Adjust 4 ("Spicify" if I remember corretly).

300th UPLOAD!

300 uploads may not be that big of a deal to some, but I though that I'd celebrate by going back to one of my most popular shots. I decided that I'd reprocess it using some of the skills and techniques that I'd learnt over that last 299 shots! The original "Dawn Tide" was one of my most popular shots (going by the number of comments and favs), so I though it might be an ideal candidate!

This version has been processed as a HDR (1 RAW file) using photomatix. Then I used Topaz Adjust 4 to bring out the extra pop and contrast.

Quite a departure from the original I think, which is largely straight out of the camera.

NIKON D90 - 10mm - F8.

HDR made from 3 images (1 RAW file) and processed in Photomatix. Extra grit and pop with Topaz Adjust 4.

Shot taken at Point Cartwright on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.
