My grandparents drove down from Cape Cod today and took me out to lunch at my favorite restaurant. Afterward we went back to their apartment and I took a few photos in their quaint little kitchen :)

Spending quality time with them is always the best.

Today I reunited with my beautiful friend Sabrina and had the most magical of golden hour photo shoots. We were practically eaten alive by insects and probably contracted poison ivy, but sometimes photography is worth it.

Quick story:

I took a drive over to my favorite park this evening in hopes of having a really therapeutic photo shoot. I get over there, park my car, start walking around with my camera and tripod ready to go. It's positively gorgeous outside. I begin to take a few photos at the opening of a path leading into the woods, when all of a sudden, my 50mm literally breaks in half and crumbles in my hands.

I knew I had to look into getting a new lens but I had no idea my 50mm would just break on me like that.

So, with that being my only camera equipment on me, I kept shooting. Luckily you don't need a functioning lens to free lens, which is exactly what I did. Here are a few shots that I thought actually came out nice. Hopefully I can buy a new 50mm as soon as possible... like tomorrow.

Sorry for the late upload! The last two and a half weeks of school were anything but relaxing, but I'm ecstatic to finally be home and completely up-to-date with my 365 again! :)

Yesterday was my first full day back home for summer vacation, and also the day I got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled. I was allowed to keep them, but one unfortunately didn't make it.

I'm happy to say I'm having a rapid, painless recovery :)

This may be one of the most uninteresting photos I've ever taken, but I moved out of my dorm on this day. After packing up my car in the rain and saying countless goodbyes, I was just happy to have taken anything by this point.

This was the last night of my sophomore year of college. As happy as I am to be done with the year, I'm going to miss UMass tremendously, and I honestly cannot believe I'm already halfway done with my undergrad career. I wouldn't trade the friends or memories I've made since coming to this school for anything in the world.

This was my last day of final exams and my first night free of any schoolwork. I had dinner with my lovely roommate from orientation, Hannah, and we decided to have a spontaneous photo shoot right as the sun began to set :)

On this day I took my Nutrition and Marketing finals. I still had one more to study for so I almost forgot to take a picture, but I ended up rushing outside near the Southwest basketball courts and taking a few shots right before midnight.

It was absolutely gorgeous on this day, and despite the fact that I had my first final exam at 8 am, Tom and I took a nice, long drive around the Amherst/Sunderland area which made me feel a whole lot better.
