Below the main falls there are smooth plates of rock with little falls like these, when there's enough water.

Any slower shutter speed and all detail was lost. I made the cardinal error of relying on my LCD image exposure without checking the histograms here, and have ended up with all the shadow detail blocking up

To get the brightness I want on Flickr, I'm having to rack it right up in my (Canon) DPP Raw processor, so all the highlights are clipped. Is this the same when using Photoshop's ACR?

This is the fall that flows into the defile that joins Langstrath Beck with Stonethwaite Beck, as viewed from above. Again my toes gripping in my boots. The tripod makes a useful support for me as well as the camera.
