Hereios: What's For Lunch?
Inanimate objects are never a favorite of mine to photograph, but in the spirit of forcing myself to try to play everyday, I decided to make a go of it... And how can I make a microwave burger appealing? Well, considering tonight is the 1st game of the 2nd half for my faltering Nuggets, I played dress up with my burger and turned it into a Nuggets burger. It still tasted better than the bitter pill called the rest of the season I'm about to swallow... Go Nuggets!

Hereios: Low Grade and B&W

I'm combining two of the last few days of Hereios into one shot. Thank goodness I'm not doing a 365 anymore. I just can't keep up. I got the 50s/Elvis wig for a costume party that I wasn't able to attend because I won Broncos tickets. And everyone knows I love my Broncos more than a peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich.

Hereios: Celebrate

The Broncos finally gave us to celebrate on Sunday, and that is that they finally started Tim Tebow instead of worthless Orton. It was still bad football for 55 minutes, but then Timmy woke up and made the game exciting, coming back from 15 down to tie it and take us into overtime for a 3 point win. At least Broncos football is exciting again. Here's hoping the rest of the season is just as exciting... as those last 5 minutes. Go Broncos!

Yes, football season is back once again and Chucho is of course playing. He's not quarterback this year, and he's come a long way from his YAFL days. Doesn't even seem like the same person. He's all of 6'1" now and wanted to be a receiver and play more defense. So what happened on the season opener? Oh, the usual... He got an interception and ran it back 80 yards for the opening score. He's just got that knack for outshining them all. Haha. Here's to a great Sophomore season. Go, Cougars! Go number 1!

The Heerios awesome theme for the day just happened to be "Orange" (Thanks, David!), and what better way to show off some orange than to bleed for my team... And yes, I know there will be lots of bleeding this season. But at least we have a season. Whew...

Another copycat of a copycat for the Heerios.

Technology is awesome, and so is the Kindle. It beats books in every way other than it's not books. I still love the feel and texture and smell of books, but man, that little device holds like 3,000 books and magazines and newspapers, plays music, and even reads to you. All without having to go to the bookstore or library... Although I do love browsing bookstores and libraries... See how torn I am? Love it hate it. Can't really live without either anymore.
