Each year I participate in an art show called "The Healing Palette". All the art in this show is by people with mental health issues. This year will be the seventh edition of the show, and I'm proud to say I've had work in every one. The Healing Palette is organized by two good friends of mine, so it's especially important to me that I participate. I prepare work specifically for The Healing Palette each year. I have moderately severe recurring depression and I also have A.D.D. I'll let each one thst views this piece read their own meaning into it.

Sunday May 27 was the annual Strawberry Fields Kite Festival in St. Thomas Ont. This festival is organized and run by a friend of mine who also happens to be the chair of the art group I belong to. We had verything set up when this rolled in. First time in 21 years the festival has been washed out. There was one point when I actually wondered if these would be the last photographs I ever made. Everyone is fine and we managed to keep everything important dry.

It used to say Pets at the top. Not quite sure if someone didn't like the rule or if they just needed some kindling.

Shot with a thrift shop wide angle adaptor that I reversed the front element.

My wife and I went down to the beach to do some photography today. We didn't stay long....that wind was bitter. Anywhere sheltered from the wind was quite mild. I like that.
