Approaching Storm

There I was, snapping away in glorious sunshine on the beach at the RSPB Titchwell Marsh reserve when I looked up and to my left and saw this.
Within 5 minutes it was raining VERY hard, within 10 minutes I was being pelted by hailstones and watching lightning strikes. Yes, I got very, very wet! Still a fabulous day though.

In between errands I went on a short walk and grabbed this photo of the local landscape in a brief period of sunshine.

I am in another period of wanderings so I apologise for the recent lack of comments and for the lack of them to come. Internet access will be sporadic and I will catch up properly when the wanderlust has been cured.

The day started off reasonably bright but became cloudier during the morning and very windy in the afternoon. Whilst out on some errands I saw these clouds gathering over these fields of rape. So I stopped the car and took this photo.

I used to regularly call into this canal yard as part of my work. It is no longer used and the site is to be re-developed for housing.
