Mobius Scarf

CreativityDate.com posted a photo:

As a little girl, she had a blanket
soft and warm, with a satin edge
spread out it was a table cloth for tea time with teddy bears and snoopy
wrapped around her at play time it was a dress
at night, perfect for
bedtime snuggles with mommy.

Years pass, a tired mom sorts through a box of her old things
and finds
a soft blanket, torn and stained
wisps of satin clinging to the edge
smelling like home.

Stitch it into a mobius loop
(for she's a geek now)
and give it a new satin edge
wear it each day to work --
it smells like home,
a perfect reminder of
bedtime snuggles with the kids.
