Space Shuttle Afterglow

This was shot from my balcony and since I haven't listened to the news in days I had no idea the shuttle was launching or even that it was launching right at dawn. Right after I snapped this one I drove to a nearby park and captured a few more before the sun washed out the magnificence of this rare sky show.

I can imagine this being snowy mountains as a backdrop to an ocean with darker islands which seem to be floating on the water.

The birds seem to be just smoothly gliding across the glassy water crossing the sunrise. This was shot at Venetian Gardens in Leesburg, Florida.

This was shot from one of the many wooden bridges that cross ponds and canals at Venetian Gardens in Leesburg, Florida. The fog gave this park a tranquil and mystical feeling which I tried to capture with this photograph.

Classic Desert Landscape in Saguaro National Park

This was at the Camboh Trail in the Saguaro National Park a few miles West of Tucson, Arizona. I tried to capture a good, balanced represention of much of the Sonoran Desert flora and flauna, along with the dramatic mountain framed landscapes. I love how the mountain in the background is a coolish blue color and how it contrasts with the foreground of natural desert plant life.
