I am actually really excited by the way this turned out. I just froze some star confetti in the ice tray. Then I set up my ever handy slightly frosted rubbermaid tub. Draped colorful swirly fabric over the top, had my desk lights shining through the fabric from the bottom. Fun Fun!

I was messing around with my camera and had my 70-300mm on my camera. So, I pointed it out through the glass, through the screen, though the close trees, and on to the trees that are 2 streets away. I set my white balance to flash so it turned out blue. Then I played from there in GIMP. Not too much though. I turned up the contrast, copied the layer. Turned the second layer to B&W, turned up the contrast again and set the layer to overlay. Tada! Done.

I was out trying to get some interesting sky pictures for a contest and I heard one of our low flying planes coming...so I ran to the end of the parking lot to try and catch it, cursing my self for not having a different lens on my camera. This was the best shot I got out of the 4 I was able to get.

Those bastards at Pepsico must be regulating the hell out of the supply of these things. Stores will carry them for like a week then pull them, then like 3 weeks later they'll be back. And of course I am playing right into their demented little game, because every time the store restocks I practically buy them out.

I went down to San Diego and while I was there we went to the Wild Animal Park because they were having their butterfly jungle. So, this is the first of many butterfly pictures. By the time I get them all up you guys will be begging me to stop uploading butterfly pictures. Lol.
