&lt;p&gt;The Epilog doesn't have enough memory to hold the entire raster bitmap, so my laptop is etching itself from inside the laser. Parameters on the new NYCR Laser are raster at 40% power, 100% speed, no vector.  Focus is really key; the outer edges of the laptop are unetched due to the curvature of the MacBook Air.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
