Tromsø in the dark period. This photo taken 12 at day, and the sun is not even over the horizon. The sun won't return before around January 25. in Tromsø. So I about two months without sunlight. I guess I can leave my shades at home now :)

Last sunday I was out trying to get some shots of the Arctic Cathedral in Tromsø while it was still covered in this beautiful blue light, and I was lucky enough to get some northern light in the sky as well!

This is me, climbing "Bladet" in Molladalen in Norway.

I'm not that used to climbing traditional climbing, so this was a pretty scary thing for me since I had to lead the route. The climbing itself was easy, but with the wind and the idea that is't really really far down on the right side of the blade made it a psycological challenge!

So I was really happy after climbing it!

This is from Sommarøy(Summer Island) outside Tromsø. The photo is taken around 23.30 at night, and this is as far down the sun goes.

Today some friends and I were skiing on Kvaløya for the first time this season! And what a beautiful trip it was! The sun doesn't rise in winter(between 27.nov-25.jan in Tromsø), so the sky was like and neverending sunrise/set.

Still too little snow, but it works fine. And the snow near the top was perfect!! Now I'm really looking forward to more trips on Kvaløya!

Almost every day I see this beggar in Tromsø, in fact, the only one I've seen here...I wonder what's his story is, how he ended up here?

He is also a contrast to rest of the scenery with christmas lights and people shopping, or going to christmas parties.

I hope you all will have a nice december, and don't forget those who can be lonely in this time!

Finally is photoshop in house! And I can once more play with all the buttons! :)

I'am planning to only post B&W photos this from now on until December. One nice way to force you to think B&W when taking photos :)
