DSC_0336: Sea plane docked in downtown Vancouver, BC.
From our trip to Western Canada in May 2011.
This night we met an old friend of mine who lives in Vancouver who I hadn't seen since 1995.
He took us to The Keg for steak and then I went out with him alone and toured around downtown.
Got this shot in Coal Harbor, near the 2010 Winter Olympic Flame.

Granville Street on a Saturday Night

This is Granville Street in Vancouver on a Saturday night in late May 2011.
We were staying at a hotel just 1/2 a block away from this area.
There are a lot of bars and restaurants in this area, so the city closes it down on Friday and Saturday nights and it turns into a walking mall on weekends.
We could hear the street noise and music until 4 AM from our hotel room.
A pretty rockin' spot.

One of only two such clocks in the world.
The guy talking in the background is a street begger. This is his area, and he makes tips by telling people about the steam clock.
