SPB took the day off work which doesn't happen very often. So we spent all day in the pool.............which is were our family spends most of the summer.

Summer means countless hours floating in the pool. My favorite time of the day for the pool is right at sunset. I love floating and watching the sky, I could do that for hours.

My phobia is kinda strange. I'm afraid of being trapped in a hot car. I panic if there is no fresh air. I have to have a window down, door open, or A/C on. It has gotten worse over the years, to the point that I am unable to be in a car without cool air blowing in my face, winter not as bad as summer (my family hates it in the winter). I have a whole set of rules and procedures that I have to go through in order to not have a panic attack, "suffocate and die". Which in my mind could happen in a matter of seconds........lol.

GTWL - 5 things
I enjoy going on adventures alone, places that I may have been by hundreds of times and only looked at from the road. Today I went down this road along the river bottom. It was amazing how the sand had changed the landscape, and was covering up the past. There was no one around and it was so quite and peaceful.

4. Every day SPB comes home from a 12 hour shift only to finish the next 12 hours on call, it makes me fall in love with him all over again. He works so hard so I can stay home with our kids, I love him for it.

3. I am the mother of two stepchildren, and this is the only thing SPB and I fight about. I also come from a blended family, and I can remember my mom and stepdad having the same types of fights. The only difference is I'm mad for hours or sometimes days. SPB is done with it as soon as he has said sorry. I don't get over thing that quickly, I know it's stupid to dwell but a difficult character flaw to change.

2. Without my contacts i don't have hindsight...hehe. I have been wearing glasses for the last 20 some odd years. Corrected I have 20/20 without I have 20/200, Legally blind is 20/200 corrected, so without glasses or contacts, I'm legally blind.

1. When I was 15yr old, a group of us went off-roading on our ATV. I came around a blind corner and crashed into a sand dune. I wasn't wearing a helmet and I hit the sand dune going about 35mph, I flew over the handle bars and skid on my face to a stop. Thank god it was on soft sand. My sunglasses broke dragging across my forehead and into my hair. I had three large cuts on my forehead/head about 6 inches long one to the bone. And one above my eye about 2 inches long, had it been a half inch lower I would of lost my eye. The scar has lighted up over the years and I don't have feeling around my hair line, but if you look above my eye and below my eyebrow you can see some of the scar.

I love to hear my childrens laughter, and as you can see it's not hard to find something to laugh at when the boy is around. I'm going to miss him during the day when he goes back to school.
