i got my iPhone 4 yesterday, woohoo! the camera is amazing. such a difference from the 3G. a real plus was the ease of switching phones: my text history, photos, and dock preferences all set. my only gripe is that I got a clear shield and my phone looks like it has warts. I'll have to get a new one and try again.

the dahlias growing in my window boxes are both beautiful and HUGE!

note: this is my image from yesterday, i'm having a bit of trouble with my scanner. may be time for a new multifunction printer. i like the one i'm using, Epson Artisan 800, as it copies, faxes, scans, prints, and has a CD/DVD printing add on that's been really handy to use for my clients.

i had a blast shooting polas for 5 days during 'roid week 2010, and it was a bit surprising to pick up my olympus e-p2 again.

currently reading: faithful place by tana french and while not as strong as her previous two books, it's very good.

this week's crayola color for the flickr group "sixty four colors" is tickle me pink.

it's been a weird day for me. the kind where you want to curl up and sleep. we have bookclub tonight and i really don't want to go, but i think i will. they always make me feel glad that i went.

this week's sixty-four colors crayola crayon is orchid. it's a very pretty color that i spotted instantly in my garden. it never really occurs to me to pick the flower and put it in a vase to shoot, but in this instance i made an exception. anyway, i'm having a wonderfully lazy saturday hanging out with martin, each of us in our offices tidying, but still able to talk.
