I have a pretty amazing group of friends, and the last of the babies in our circle turned 4 today :-( I honestly thought she was turning 3!! They all just need to stop growing hehehehe. Anyway Baby Hope, who is no longer a baby, but will be forever called that loves Dr Who. Secretly I think her mummy had so much fun planning this party!! Sometimes less is more! I made this cake for Nyssa and Braden who were married over the May Day long weekend (yes I'm behind with photos hehehehe). Top tier was white chocolate, middle was caramel and the bottom was chocolate, I think in that order!! Congratulations Nyssa and Braden I hope you had an amazing day.

A classic white ruffle wedding cake with a touch of bling! I made this last weekend for the lovely Clare who married Jason in a very classical style wedding. This cake was made up of 3 different flavours, white chocolate (top), red velvet (middle) and chocolate (bottom). Congratulations Clare and Jason I hope you had an amazing day!!

I made this cake a week or so ago for the lovely Shelley and Nick. This would have to be one of my most requested cakes, but I love that Shelley changed it slightly to incorporate the green with the flower. Mind you what's not to love about ruffles!!

I made this cake a couple of weeks ago! Yes I'm behind with showing you all my recent creations. My bad LOL. I made this cake for Cassandra and Colin who were recently married down at the Riverside Community Centre. It's such a pretty spot down there. Rough buttercream finishes are becoming quite popular around here. I'm not quite use to them yet, more use to clean lines hehehehe. Tammy and Matt were married last Saturday and celebrated at the Mercure Townsville. Tammy sent me a picture of a cake that she wanted me to create. I've seen this one before, but I just don't know who the original creator is, so credit to that person for the design. I had fun making this vintage chic cake, I really do love it. I am loving my new lace tools as well, took me ages to find and I get to use them all over again this weekend ;-)

Emma and Tim were married over at Magnetic Island. Emma and Tim reside in Sydney but chose to get married here in North Qld. A small and intimate wedding with close friends and family travelling here and making a holiday of the celebrations. I love that.
