While I wait for some models to shoot, some more equipment to come in, and to get the software I want, I thought I'd get a head start on a small series I want to shoot about human emotion without facial expression. Been a long time since I've actually shot anything real. Easing back into this.

The National - About Today

I'll be the first to admit. It seems now a days it's wrong to feel human. To actually need someone, it comes off as clingy. You just have to hope that same person wants to cling back, and then you have to hope you both want it at the same time. Because humans really don't know what they want or have, til it's gone. Things like road trips, going out on the weekends, doing everything together helps get people in the same state of mind and sometimes even tricks you into thinking you're doing everything right. But when you have to do nothing to still cling together, that is nirvana. As a couple you will argue, you will fight, and you will compare each other. The ones who want to be together will get over that because 5 out of 10 relationships, someone in there will fight for that person every time. Because they know if they threw away everything for nothing, in a year, 2 years, no matter how long, for some reason. That significant other is still popping in their head.

This is the second photo I edited on a Mac. Again. I look at my P.C. and then turn to the resolution on the mac. Amazing difference. I think I just need a better P.C. I can only hope people see what I see.

For subject used two flood lights Lowell left and right slightly behind and a 500w Lowell Softbox above subject.

This was the first time I edited a picture on a mac. And the resolution is insane. I look at the picture on a mac and it looks gorgeous. I look at the picture on my pc and its a little lighter and has a blue hue to it, skin tones aren't as good and overall I want to run back to the Mac. I wonder if its one of the screen's is not calibrated or the Mac's resolution is just so high. I'm a pc guy and editing on my business partner's $5000 Mac makes me look at my photos differently.

It kind of makes me wonder what other people are seeing. If they are seeing the final product I want them to see. Or if they're still using a a monitor and graphics card from 98 or something. How do we make sure the viewer gets to see what we want them to see? How do we edit for the norm?

I love this pit. Looks exactly like Junior from the Dog Whisperer with his white paws. About 6 or 7 months, blue nose. He's a big baby though haha, just makes his personality.

Everyone wants to be a superhero and I enjoy making them one.

Yea never even seen the movie completely really, But thought itd be a cool photo to edit. Yes, I added mysterious ghost faces to bring back the kinda of evil Ghost rider was meant to have in my eyes. It ads that little more sinister look.

Only used one HVL42AM Above head for this shot.

Currently in the process of shooting a show. These projects ACTUALLY give my mind a break of that haha. Hours and hours of shooting only gets tiresome after a while. Doesn't matter how famous the person is your shooting!

I had some fun with one of the photos for the gym. Gotta love the liquify tool. Think the screen I was working on was a little uncalibrated, mighta detailed the veins too much.
