The maritime festival Ostend at Anchor 'is its fourteenth edition. Which takes place from 23 to 26 May. However, most historic ships have been coming to today and tomorrow.

The festival site is open daily from 10 to 18 hours and includes Vindictivelaan, Station Square, Winston Churchilkaai, Visserskaai, St Peter and Paul's Square, the Montgomery and Mercator. Access to the site and the ship is completely free. For cruises at sea'll ask the skippers an intervention in the expenses.

It will be a smash spectacle with authentic 175 boats, 85 gigs of ship-related folk music and more than 100 nautical positions. The advent of medieval ships as "The Cog" The Barge "and" Scute 'are an absolute highlight.

But Frigate 'Etoile du Roy "and other two-and three masters will be present. In addition, also authentic motor-service ships, some of which are still under steam, to admire and to visit.

Ostend its expected 250,000 visitors to the show. Among them were King Albert and Queen Paola, who come to Ostend on 24 May.
