Here's another one of Carmen D'Arminio. Nick Williams is helping hold the softbox overhead. We had to hurry up and get the last bit of light in the sky, then we basically got chased off by the park security dude.

This is a shot from a photo meetup this weekend. We were all suppose to bring our own models, but mine was MIA. Good thing I could tag along and get some decent shots. This is Kristy and she was pulling off some great poses. Her hair was just a bit messy from the wind, so I figured it's all or nothing. I had her mess up her hair even more and give us a sexier appeal. Edited in Silver Efex Pro.

She did a great job at modeling this day. It's a total of 7 shots, and about 10hrs of editing O_o I didn't realize it would take that long, and I will still probably tweak it. Hope you guys like it! I'll probably post some before and afters on my Facebook.

Hope everyone had a great holiday! I was in food coma for a bit, but I survived! This is a new model, Tori, who did a great job at modeling. Plus she lives right down the road from me, so I will surely have her model again sometime.

I uploaded a bunch of wedding pictures on my Facebook that are edited a bit different. I'd really love it if you swung by there to check it out. As always, I'm unsure of the "look" of the processing. Thanks everyone!

So I woke up early this day, probably 6:15 after the first snooze button, and I headed to a new location in Waipahu to meet up with other photogs/models/MUA. It was awesome! While I was walking to the location I spotted this dead palm branch and I instantly saw this concept in my mind. So glad I was able to create it before I had to run off to work at 10:30. Thanks Zarli for helping with the branches!
I'm going to post a before and after shot on Facebook :)

As always, I'm open for critiques with solutions that will help me grow as a photographer.

This is Allsay and yep, she's smoking a branch :P I've been working day shift, which is the complete opposite to my usual schedule, so my daily tasks have been all jumbled...including editing and what not. That's life though right?

This is Chelsey and we are in an abandoned building in front of a huge bay window...with a lacy curtain :D That bokeh on the right was, I later found out, caused by my UV filter on my lens. It was increasing the lens flare. In this case it worked well for me, but in others it was a pain.

This is a shot on top of a huge cliff with Loraine. I'm glad I finally got to use the milk jugs I was saving for about 3 months! haha! And it took me almost two hours to construct the whole "balloon" prop. Hope you guys like it! I'm going to post some outtakes on my Facebook...check them out :) I'm off to work!

Ah yes, another night shot...I'm starting to like these because I have full control of the light...I wish I had full control over the wind, because we had to light this candle about 5 times :D This is Loraine again doing a great job of letting hot candle wax drip on her, cover herself, and pose beautifully.

This is Loraine and we are at Ala Moana beach. This is a concept I had with another model, but never had the chance to execute. Glad I finally finished it. I'm off today and have another shoot with Loraine...it's a night shoot in a warehouse...should be interesting!

Well, I'm back from an awesome vacation filled with tons of family bonding! Google search Schweitzer Mountain and you will see what I'm talking about. I miss my family, but it's good to be home in paradise.

This is Loraine and we are at Ala Moana beach. I don't usually do bikini shoots, but I saw it as a challenge, and approached it like Degas would his ballerinas...this is more evident in some of the other photos.

I'll be uploading a couple pictures per day eventually, so I can catch up with my 365 and finish on time. Jet lag killed me the whole vacation, so I'm playing catch up on sleep for now.

This is Allsay and we are near Mt Olympus. These branch houses were already built when we got there, so I wanted to put them to use. Just seconds after this shot, three guys came walking through the forrest and caught her in this pose. She was pretty embarrassed! haha!

This is a shot with Allsay when we were up near Mt Olympus. She was very comfortable in her own skin. The original showed both legs from the calf up, but I felt this crop gave it a more artistic feel. It's my Friday and I have one, maybe two shoots lined up for tomorrow :D

This is Nyki and we are at Barbers Point. This is inside an old bunker that rests on the beach. I went there yesterday again and it is continually sinking and being washed out. Global warming I guess.....aaaaaahhhhhh! :P
