When I saw that sleeping boy in a bench, I thought he represented the little dreaming boy who everyone have deep in their hearts.

This is Jorge Lorenzo Motogp World Champion 2012.
But the story was that I got two tickets in a very special location for the Motogp Championship in Valencia for my son and me. We were just over Yamaha's box and just against the podium place, so we watched the whole championship from a privileged place. In a rest between races, I reminded a friend of me is on medical center of the race and we visit him, there we met the medical helicopter pilot who let my son board the helicopter. It was a magic day.

When we were returning home he was speaking about the races, the pilots, the helicopter, and everything he'd just lived. I was thinking in that old commercial: enjoy an amazing day with my son wich will be one of your best memories in our life is priceless.... for everything else there's Mastercard.

Este es Jorge Lorenzo, Campeón del Mundo de Motogp.

Pero la verdadera historia de esta foto es la de mi hijo y la mía: conseguí dos entradas para el campeonato muy bien situadas, estábamos justo encima del box de Yamaha y pegados al podio, por lo que estuvimos viéndolo todo casi en primera persona, os podéis imaginar para un niño de 7 años como tenia que ser. Además entre carreras nos acercamos a centro medico donde trabaja un amiguete y nos presentó al piloto del helicóptero que le dejo a mi hijo subir, no digo mas.

Cuando volvíamos a casa Javi no paraba de contarme cosas sobre los pilotos, las carreras, el helicóptero y todo lo que habíamos vivido ese día. Yo iba pensando en aquel anuncio: pasar con tu hijo un día genial que probablemente sea un de los recuerdos mas bonitos de vuestras vida, no tiene precio.... para lo demás MasterCard, jeje.

This story reminds me a bull races game. This is a typical game in Spain, although I don't like bull races I have to recognize I played it when I was young. But don't mistake, this isn't a country where you find bull racers in everywhere, even some states of Spain has forbidden bull races, but bull culture is inportant since several centuries ago.
Maybe I mistake and the child only try to show us his bravery against that beast, the Mustang.

Esta historia me recuerda a los juegos de niños en los que hacíamos como que tentábamos al toro. Es un gesto muy español lo de tentar al toro, supongo que son años y años inculcándose la cultura taurina en nuestra sociedad, y aparece por cualquier lado. A lo mejor me equivoco y es simplemente un juego de mostrar el valor ante cualquier bicharraco como en este caso el pedazo Mustang de la foto.

This is a trial for my new profile photo. Flickr, facebook, 500ps, tumblr, blog, linkedin.... there are too many sites, so I thought I needed a photo profile wich were useful in all of them. I tried to do my best, with a bit of imagination, good light and my favourite clothes, I sucked in my stomach and used my best smile...... then these shots were the result. Please, remind I'm not a model neither a photographer (obvious), so be good and tell me, wich one is your favourite?.

Esto es una prueba para mi nueva foto de perfil. Flickr, facebook, tumblr, blog, linkedin....son demasiados sitios web y pensé que necesitaba una foto que me valiese para todos ellos. Lo hice lo mejor que pude, con un poco de imaginación, buena luz y mi ropa favorita, metí barriga y puse mi mejor sonrisa..... este es el resultado. Recordad que no soy ni modelo ni fotógrafo (es obvio), así que por favor, sed buenos y decidme, ¿cual os gusta más?.

Is it possible to be more happy than a child on a swing trying to get to the sky?

Last weekend, a friend of my son paid a party in his grandpa's house. I found this old swing when we arrived there, it became the second best game for children, of course swiming pool was the best fun. I tried to take a good photo of the swing, so i was shooting several photos, this is my prefered.

Yes, I know, technical speaking, this shot isn't a good panning, but I love it because I think it shows a strong action. I'm so lucky to enjoy some old car races, take this kind of shots and knowing wonderful people as the family racing team in the picture.

There's a place near my job where several girls work. It's A beautiful old building with large balconies in wich I've sometimes seen some of those girls. They seem happy, I don't know but the really true is, from there, they're closer to heaven than the rest of us.

Hay un sitio cerca de mi oficina donde trabajan varias chicas. Es un bello edificio antiguo con grandes balcones donde algunas veces he visto a esas chicas. Parecen felices, no lo sé, pero la verdad es que desde allí están más cerca del cielo.
