Sorry i still haven't had the chance to visit anyone but I just want to take a min, while i'm doing work at my pc, to shout.............

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to everyone...be it you r single or a couple :))

I'm sure everyone can enjoy this day! I think this flower belongs to one of the rose families...i could be wrong since i know nuts about flowers :P Anyway i found this in the rose section of our botanic garden so I could still be 50% right. I thought this flower resembles a fire. Seriously.. rose & fire on this special day... that has to be the recipe for hot passionate night lol! Take care & I shall visit soon when time permits ;)

A flashback to my bangkok trip in 2009! wow how time flies! I was doing lots of cleanup on my 2009 folders yesterday & can't believe I have taken so many crap shots just in a yr alone!! some are so shitty that I've to say they are seriously not fit for human eyes consumption at all lol! Anyhow everytime i perform some house keeping on my hdd, i always find a number of folders which i have never imported into lightroom! far out! wtf have i been doing! This is one of them & sometimes these images just came as a surprise as i've long forgotten that i've taken them! :D

Anyway guess everyone is chilling out at work & looking forward to the holidays.. for me, its rather the opposite & i've pretty flat out with work so really looking forward to a good break soon! Take care & see u soonish again!

First of all sorry for the lack of visit. My life is getting so busy now.... that it looks like i am in need of some lovin' here haha! I don't think most tassie tourists will get to see this view during their trip since it is not meant to be a hot touristy spot or is it located along a common highway. In fact I don't even know there is such a mountain call mount roland in tassie. Among those mountains (see below), I only know the famous cradle mountain. well, my geography fails so that explains it all haha! :P We just happen to take a detour through a small town & happen to come across this spectacular view. Really I should have done a pano! :S

Today's lucky pick goes to another super old shot taken, in my current hometown, a month later after I just got my xti. For those international cricket fans esp the poms, they most probably have been to this area as this sport ground is used at least once during the Ashes series. (not that I know a lot about cricket myself but getting there :P) Gotta do a post & run for now as its already past my knock off time from work. Should be back later in the still of the night! ;)

This shot has been sitting in my archive for about 1.5 yrs to date. This was taken on my 2nd night photo trip in the city back in 2008. That's about the time when i was just learning to take 3 exposure shots for hdr processing. Back then I don't really care/know much about sky.. whether it has to be beautiful, cloudy or colourful for hdr... i just want to take shots for practice purposes :P so here goes.. one of the early work for u all :)

To show my lingering 'presence' in flickr, here's a quick post tonight :) ..a super old shot taken more than a yr ago. Thanks for your kind emails & comments nonetheless during the last 3 weeks.

I've been swamped with work which flatten me out whenever i get home & life is just not that great esp when i'm down with a flu now (yep.. winter's the sort of season for that..hopefully in no relation to swine *o0o0oh touch wood!*) & to top it up, I've contracted some lovely eye infection from somewhere.. which now makes my eyes beautifully swollen, deliciously puffy, creamy, fantastically sore & painful too! :( YES the sea of fire indeed! What a feelin'!

I can't really stay up too long lookin' at the screen so I should catch with u all more often when i'm up for it soon. I'm sure all of you are doing heaps better in every way..pls keep it that way & :))) take care & cheers!

The busiest period for me at work this week... real stress :'( so hopefully i can find the time to continue posting for the next few days. Anyway Saturday is supposed to be my flickr off day, this is indeed a bonus shot for u on this sweet beautiful day! If you don't like it, just shut your neck until tomorrow when i can redeem myself & post something more normal - YES! a churchy shot! What a surprise haha! I don't expect this to have a lot of response so just sit back & enjoy if you are a gal who likes flowers :))) If you are a bloke, just be a bitch for once & bloody enjoy this quietly! :P FYI, this was taken on my first outdoor photography trip with my so called 'new' cam back in april last year. Pretty pretty eh :P I'm already so impressed with my own skill way back then LOL! Enough of my rubbish... have a great weekend everyone & an enjoyable Valentines Day too! I went to the MD yesterday & have 3 days off sickie however as a fully committed & responsible person i'm & always have been (lmao!) i'm back to work esp since i'm running short of time to finish up my project! Anyway I've been too tired to do any processing lately therefore i dug up this super old shot taken just a month after i bought my cam. Back then, I was still attempting many cutie shots like this :P Anyway i can't help myself but just have to gave it a quick hdr treatment even tho this is not really meant to be. i just feel weird posting shots sooc. i've been completely hdr brainwashed!! if u haven't realised that :D

Btw HBW to everyone! I reckon there are some bokeh in this shot too lol! This time i'm sure its not dirt on my lens :P

i don't normally post on Saturday :) but thought i might as well do a quick one of this shot taken back then when i was whinging about not having any new photos to share :P Now i've quite a few to process but end up being too lazy to even do it! Must be the time of year i reckon! haha! i can find excuse for anything! This shot was taken at the park just 5 mins from my house. I believe that's the only shot i took on that day just to cure my itchy hard-up fingers. Nothing special but i just love shadows esp in hdr!

This shot was taken like 5 months ago with my very reliable kit lens ;) One of my earlier shots in my good old archive to post :P i even have a few processed ones done 1/2 years ago in the queue... man! i'm becoming vintage soon LOL!

I've posted a similar shot in july this year so this is like refreshing the memory for me. As you can tell, the way i process my shots have changed quite a bit since those days... super surreal & super saturation... or am i doing the same crap still now? haha! In those days, if i can dump 1 billion colours into a shot, i will do that without even having to think about it! :P that goes to show how hard-up i'm :D

Nonetheless hope you will have a colourful thursday with me! :D
