I have had Malaya almost 2 years now, it will be 2 years on November 1st, no matter how spoiled she is, or how demanding she can be (my fault) one look like this and it is worth it all.

Malaya, what else can I say... if I don't want her in a photo, there she is with the nose. I guess it really is true that curisoity killed the cat. Either way, it should be her middle name. If I wanted to take a picture of her, think that would happen? Heck no!! :)

This is my baby, well, she is 4 now, most of the time she is a lovely cat. Loving, in her own way of course, but then, as all cats, she turns and becomes insane. Running around the house, out of control, like she is possessed. I thought the second picture captured that side of her personality to perfection.

It's been a while since I have allowed Amy to get some good pics of me, but I figured since she had this huge new gadget she seems to love, I would let her get a few snap shots of me. Plus it is nice to be someone's main subject (but don't tell Amy that).

Cassie, again I am sorry. I missed the anniversary of your death. You died, or as I feel... I killed you, 2 years ago on October 17, 2005. This past October 17th, I was very sick and I knew in the back of my head I was forgetting something and a week later I remembered, and I felt terrible. I know I did not kill you, you were very sick, but signing the documents to put you to sleep (kill you) made me, and still makes me feel like your executioner. You were almost 15 years old and with me 1/2 of my life. I do not post many pictures of you because I still feel so much guilt that I left you there on that cold table and did not hold you in my arms while you died. That day, I just could not do it, but I would give anything to go back to that day to hold you in my arms and give you the goodbye you deserved. I could have kept you alive for a few weeks, but that would have been selfish of me. I know you were in pain, it all happened so fast, within a week, it was so much to take in. Please know I am sorry, and I will always be.

I had Malaya outside for the 3rd time in her life. When I do I snap like crazy because I am sick of house shots. While shooting like crazy, ummm I got a shot of her bum. To me, it is hilarious, but I have a odd sense of humor. In no way was it planned, I mean... how could something like this be :) Sorry if anyone is offended, but it's just a kitty butt (if that makes it any better)

This is a resent picture I took of Malaya, the way she is looking at the sky, and you can see the fence in the background it made me think... I wonder what she is thinking. Most likely how can I get this camera out of my face, but it seems a little deeper to me :)

When I saw this picture the first thing I was drawn to was her eyes, I guess that is obvious. I wanted to highlight them as much as I could.

Yet another day she did not run from me when she heard or saw the camera, I tend to go nuts then and take as many pics as I can. I am also 'experimenting' with lightroom and I have been having a blast. This is from Holly McCaig's presets, and of course I had to play around with it.

So, for only the 4th time I took Malays outside last week, for my selfish reasons, I wanted some pictures :) Now I have created a monster. She wants out all of the time and when the door is open, just people walking in the house, or out, she thinks she can do the same. Totally my fault, she got out yesterday, no leash just walked right on out and she is too stunned for that - haha So there were people here looking at our house and John and I were in the backyard trying to catch her, finally he was able to get her by the tail. I should have known better, but I did get some really good pics I love *smile*

She is such a wonderful manipulator, she knows that look will get her anything, and if I can photograph it... well watch out! - haha I paid the next two days, she discovered the outside... I wanted to thank her so I took her outside for a quick play (only her 2nd time outside, I have tons of pics) but I have created a monster now she wants to go out each day. All because of "the look"
