EXT. - PARIS DISNEYLAND - NIGHT

This day Odette exactly remember for a lifetime! It started early in the morning when she woke up and found next to his bed the whole scattering of boxes with gifts. Then her friends came with a huge cake, and in the afternoon parents took them to Disneyland! Odette could spend eternity or two, but all good things come to an end. This is the last round on the carousel, and the last piece of candy for today before the trip home.

I've decided to simplify the "scripts". Im still interested in scriptwriting, it terms and rules, but better keep it nice and easy, its just photo, not cinematic.

Looks likes its doesnt matter what gear use in studio, this shot made on good old Nikon D90 and cheap 55-200 f4-5.6 lens.

Lighting: 60x80cm softbox placed in front of model, positioned parallel to background.

Vader'n'Trooper team. Nikon D4, Nikkor 16-35. Shot with bare Einstein 640ws, geiled with dark green gel filter. WB shited to 14000 K and +100 magenta tint in Capture One.

Lighting: one bare strobe very high above (4m) to produce even light on full length and avoid without light falloff. Additional strobes on background.

I should not use Nikkor 16-35 on studio shots, it have not enough resolution. Its OK for travel, not for portraits.

Nikon D700, Nikkor 135 f/2 DC

Lighting it was tricky. Bokeh Background is mostly natural This is wall, covered with silver christmas tinsel. I light it up with flash at very low angle, so every glare produced single bokeh spot. Model been placed about 10 meters from background, so key and fill lights for her almost did not reach background. Light setup for model:

1. Two flashes into Westcott stripbox as kickers.

2. Single flash into Photek Softliter 36'' from above, as key light.

3. Single flash into Photek Softliter 60'', as very soft fill light.

Flashes: SB-800, SB-80DX and SB-26. All in one with Radiopoppers, PX for SB-800 and JrX for old flashes. Ive got large percentage of misfires, blame it on low batteries. Also, 135mm f2 gives heavy fron-focus from time to time on D700...

Triggered via Nikon CLS by Wireless remote SU-800 and radiopoppers.

To achieve such bokeh, you should quickly defocus lens right after shutter opened and flash fired.

Warm gel filter used on key light. I've lowered overall WB to 3200K, it allows me to detach lightened plants from cold background and make color shift.

Is glitch-art for post production is something like lensbaby for process of photographing?

Shot with Nikon D700, old 70-210 f4 or 24-70 f2.8.

Lighting: strobe into big 60x90cm softbox model left as fill, and strobe with regular reflector high above model.

I'd better shoot with speedlites or einstein 640 ws next time. t1/t5 time (flash duration time) of usual non-expensive strobes on 1/1 is too long to capture movement perfectly. I can see some motion blur on full-scale images. Speedlite never give you such effect.

It is a part of my job assignment in California. Cover arts for singles of young song writer and performer Jeff Lloyd.

This shot made on Malibu beach with single SB-800.

Next moment wave totally overrun me and my D4 with 16-35. Since then, AF-ON button on vertical grip of D4 is locked.
