This is a native of our area and more areas I'm sure. It attracts butterflies in early spring...hoping to get a swallowtail shot soon!...oddly these do not have a fragrance humans can smell. We have it growing on our back fence. Today I took a big whiff of these and lol, they smell good..guess they had to mature!

These are some of my favorite wildflowers in Texas. Legend has it that Paintbrush was used by the Indians for dye in their material....they come in every shade except blue/purple...even white!

These pop out the same time with Redbuds, and Forsithias! I had to get in the dirt with these lowboy's to get this shot...20 takes! Not real clear but I liked the DoF...have a great day y'all! xxoo
