My Kitchen Littles Fridge

CarolineSwing posted a photo:

Inspired by DorothyAlice's wonderful picture:
www.flickr.com/photos/24628025@N05/3685620521/in/photostr...

I used special stainless steel paint, not silver paint. The stainless is darker and deeper than regular silver paint. The paint I use is High Proformance by Rustolium, it's rated to be used on real life appliances. The best part it's only a small amount more than regular spray paint, but the can is bigger too.

My favorite part are the shelves in the door. They really help make the fridge feel so real. All the stuff in the door shelves is held in place with Museum Gel. That way I could have the labels facing out.

This is my first diorama. It was very fun to do. Now I just need ideas for more dioramas. :D
Kitchen Littles Fridge: Unpainted vs Painted

CarolineSwing posted a photo:

Here are two Kitchen Littles refrigerators. The one on the left is unpainted while the one on the right has been painted by me with "stainless steal" spray paint. I can't decide what to paint the "inside" of the ice dispenser or even if I should paint it.

I used special stainless steel paint, not silver paint. The stainless is darker and deeper than regular silver paint. The paint I use is High Proformance by Rustolium, it's rated to be used on real life appliances. The best part it's only a small amount more than regular spray paint, but the can is bigger too.

I removed the doors first for easier painting.
I used painters tape to mask off areas I didn't want painted.
Then I used a spray paint primer.
I then used 3 coats of the stainless paint.
Last was 1 coat of clear top coat.

.
This fridge is amazing for Re-ment items.
Here is a pic of the inside:
