Ivory & White cake for a beautiful wedding at South Lodge Hotel, West Sussex. Decorated with open ruffle roses on a double height bottom tier, diamante details to match the wedding stationery, and topped with a giant sugar bow. Flavours were Chocolate Mud, Carrot & Orange, Banana & Chocolate and White Chocolate Mud Cake. I'm so glad the bride & groom loved it!

It was both my little girls birthdays last week, and this was the cake I made for them. Every year I'm so busy with weddings in September that the girls get a thrown-together-in-5-minutes cake, but this year I promised they could have a 'proper' cake. They're both mad about Lalaloopsy's so I went with something really whimsical just like the toys, and I have to say it was so much fun making this! I should point out that the dolls are toys - my girls are much more impressed by something they can play with afterwards than by sugar models lol... Jelly Wiggle Jiggle, Bun Bun Sticky Icing and Scoops Waffle Cone each had a tier themed to their name.

Flavours were Pink Vanilla, Strawberry & White Chocolate, and Chocolate Mud Cake.

I've been trying to think out of the box for my latest cakes, and in the spirit of all those beautiful weddings I've seen with charming handmade details I channeled my inner Martha Stewart with this cake ;)

There was a tier of Rich Fruit Cake, a tier of Lemon Cake, and a tier of Dark Chocolate Mud Cake, decorated with turquoise ribbon and diamante brooches to match the wedding stationery.
