Taken on my Canon A1 and Vivitar Series 1 28-105 lens on fuji 200 print film. The A1 and Seies 1 lens are a versatile combination however they are heavy. I have Ilford HP5 in the A1 at themoment and an orange filter on the Vivitar lens. The Vivitar is a variofocal lens not a zoom, I am ok with refocusing when I change angle of view, this lens is very good quality.

Linda in the Abbey

I took this picture in October 1990 while staying with the Iona Community. The Abbey is an altogether different place when it is quiet. The lady in the picture is Linda who was the Abbey warden then. She is a lady of depth, loveliness and Christ.. Her she is tidying the altar.

I took this picture on an Olympus AF1-Twin on Kodachrome 200. I miss that film it could convey emotion and depth in a picture.

The central part of Reding near the station is like ghost town. Abandoned worthless buildings in every street. Lots have been stripped of their metal content and the only people who bother with them are the graffiti artists who I think improve the environment with their art and colour.
