The lower dish is Wedgewood, "Nanette"; an old thrift shop find. Today I found the upper dish at GW. It was hand thrown, and it's got holes in the back with string for hanging, but no markings of any kind. I wish I knew where it was made, but even if I never find out, I love how it looks with my thrift shop curtain. Love those thrift shop finds!

After some paint, and fabric panels to come, here's the re-invention of a folding screen salvaged from a dumpster.

Quirky little tea set was waiting for me yesterday at GW. I'd like to know more about it, but so far, nothing. There's a lower case "f", in script, on the bottom of each piece.
update 4.9 2013: Mystery solved. I finally stumbled onto the identity of my little tea set; it's called "Teardrop" by Tea Forte, discontinued 2010.

I hated the green wall, after I hated it red, then terracotta, but I didn't know what to do with it. Then I remembered the two rolls of vintage wallpaper I'd found at Goodwill a couple of years ago, and I knew I'd found the solution to my problem.

When the wall was green, I couldn't think of a good color for the little cupboard we made from half a drop-leaf table topped with shelves made by my husband. When I saw the "Tiffany Blue" in the wallpaper, my problem was solved.

I'm not sure what the footed piece is, but I love it, and both little hobnail vases.
Good things are getting harder and harder to find at my local GW, but these little milkglass pieces made up for all the over-priced junk I had to look through to find them.

After a "little' break of about a year, I finally varnished the shelves my husband built for the basement "family room". Today I put away my painting mess, swept the floor, then pulled out some old rugs and throws and globes, and arranged them while I listened to some Moody Blues, Beatles, and Hendrix. Still lots to do, but it's finally coming together

This is one of the bronze ones; there are more of them than the green. I wish I knew more about them, but there's so much information out there that I'm confused. One thing I know, they like to hang upside down, and they freak me out when they stare at me.
