We were in Venice and as we were walking we turned the corner and saw this man and his dog
just taking in the sights and people watching.
I love the way the Italians love life & try to enjoy everyday of it with family in an always relaxed manner.

When it comes to food he has the healthiest appetite I have ever seen from a child.
The only junk food he likes is frozen yogurt/ice cream. At birthdays parties he doesn't like the cake & will eat only the ice cream, but not much of it. Since he was born he was only fed healthy food & to this day his snacks consist of cut up veggies & fruit. It's fantastic to hear him ask for berries or watermelon & even cut up broccoli, but his favorite is carrots & peppers.

Two yrs. ago she introduced me to wheatgrass & green smoothies. Michael is so in love with these smoothies that he asks for them everyday. The health benefits from them are immense, but when wheatgrass is added it's overwhelming.

Green Smoothies:
1 bunch spinach
1 bunch kale
1 handful grapes
Few pieces cut up pineapple
I frozen cube of wheatgrass
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
1 tbs. chia seed
1 tbs hemp seeds
Blend in a high speed blender & enjoy!

I'm not saying it's a cure all of anything, but I personally have so many genetic factors against us that this is a small way for me to help try to ward them away.
I know it doesn't sound to yummy, but I promise if you give it a try you will be hooked.
It's absolutely delicious. We actually get cravings for them if we miss a day.

We went to visit my daughter & her husband in Texas. They took us to the famous River walk.
If you've never been I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed…especially at night.

Hello everyone!
I have been so busy with my family, but missed flickr a lot.
My son in law accepted a new job in Chicago and has been staying in an extended stay hotel and comes home on weekends. My daughter has stayed behind to sell their house. It sold & now she & Michael have moved in with us until they find a new home in either Chicago or Wisconsin.
Needless to say we have been very busy helping them pack up their home & moving into ours.
It's been so wonderful to have them here, but as we get used to it I think it will make the move even harder when they finally do find a home and settle into another state. Until then we are going to savor every minute with both of them.
Hope all of you have been enjoying the summer so far & all is well.
