This is a MOC by my colleague Craig Callum. (Who was just at the fan event in Sydney Australia.) It was photographed for Brick Journal late last year. I thought it was an appropriate day to put it online too. May the Fourth be with you!

Probably the last prototype I'll post for a while. This one was a Power Miners prototype that just didn't fit into that theme, but I kept hold of it and a year later it was redesigned for the Atlantis theme. Originally published in Brick Journal.

Dark-Panther-Concept-Teal

One of the final prototypes of my very first LEGO set: Exo-Force set 8115 Dark Panther. There were four colour choices - red, orange, purple or teal (like this). If I chose teal, then the colour purple would be deleted, if purple then teal would die. (Orange or red would have led to both being deleted.) Pictures of this were originally published in 2007 in Brick Journal.

I showed this as part of a presentation at a LEGO event in Melbourne, Australia earlier this year. This is the second prototype model in the development of LEGO set 70003 Eris' Eagle Interceptor. Thought I'd put it on here. I think I'll put a few LEGO concepts from sets I've had a hand in on here!

I built this in about two hours on the LEGO Inside Tour last year. On the tour you get one evening building with LEGO Designers, I try to build something about this size each time.

Bandit-and-Draak-and-sets

These are mine and Megan's pets: Bandit and Draak and just two of many LEGO sets (there are even more MOCs) that they have inspired. They are an odd part of LEGO history, forevermore immortalized as LEGO sets!

Looking after them when we are on holiday has become a rite of passage for many new LEGO Designers over the last six years and they have met AFOLs from all over the world, if you're ever in Billund let us know - Bandit loves to met a new friend and Draak will tolerate your adoration!
