Its the time to Disco :-).
This is the most beautiful and colorful spider I've ever seen. Its the Indian Peacock Spider(Maratus volans). I found this toddler late evening and kept him in plastic box for half-a-day and sorry about that. He/she was so tiny, must be about 2mm x 4 mm.

Took it with kit lens reversed and my new gift LED ring flash ( Amaran Halo LED Ring Flash) mounted to the front of the lens with two sided tap. Tried to get higher magnification but was too difficult to track him as he was extremely tiny. After spending an hour with him left him in the yards with freedom :-).

In an attempt to simplify the macro setup tried using the common kit lens 18-55mm reversed with aperture set to "unknown" :-).

1. Since there's no aperture ring on the kit lens, used paper to fix the aperture pin and I am not sure where it is set. By changing the zoom the magnification can be altered as needed. So no extension tubes needed here.

2. Used built-in flash and an home made softbox with card-board, foil and paper towel. The issue still remains is fixing the softbox to built-in flash.

Let me know if the setup can be made simpler without using flash brackets and external flashes :-)

Common Jezebel.
Scientific name: Delias Eucharis

During recent visits to Osmania Landscape Garden, I've not been able to capture this beauty. Decided not to give up this time and kept chasing for 30 mins and got this neat shot! She is the most colorful and beautiful butterfly I've seen so far and I hope she'll remain the most beautiful.
Its interesting chasing butterflies :-P, isn't it.

Saw this cute little Squirrel celebrating rather enjoying the remains of a birthday cake in the garden. He was not al all hesitant and preferred to stay back and eat well.

The Dark Knight Rises!
There was too much of light and Aperture Priority was giving over exposed shots. Switched to my favorite Manual mode and this is what I captured.

Usually I post pictures which are bright, colorful. This particular picture is something special and the title struck to me the moment I saw it. I hope you guys like it.

Its normal that we take flower shots of full bloomed or when we find them beautiful. Amidst a gallery of these yellow flowers found these dry flowers and attempted this shot. The yellow bokeh surrounding the dry one is a full blossomed flower showing the irony.
