Buds on the two pin oaks in the front yard are growing. The pin aoks are always the last to show it's leaves. I'm not sure if these are normal size compared to last year. We had "exceptional drought" conditions for a good part of last year.

Our first year organic blueberries at Half Hill Farm were mulched this weekend and already have these beautiful buds. These will all be pinched to encourage more established root growth.

Here's a shot of the Green Mountain boxwood buds about a week later. They are now about an inch long. Hopefully these will grow about 5-6 inches this year.

Vince I got this cactus in Virginia some time in 2004. This is the first time we've seen this ring of pink flower buds.
