This is my major piece of work for 'The Egyptian Underworld'. In this 8 month long project, I have been exploring ancient Egyptian mythology and have created scenes and characters inspired by some of the myths I have found. The resulting works are a series of character portraits, and this long, frieze-like montage showing a scene in the ancient Egyptian underworld. I am so proud of this piece of work, as it took about 20 hours to edit, and I have put so much work in to it!

I'm getting towards the end of my project with Curve now and I'm doing some experiments with how my work could be used on different platforms. I have created some interactive images with the individual portraits I have taken, and this is a mock-up of how the 150+ head shots I have taken could be used. The head shots I've taken won't actually be shown like this, it's just a mock-up to show what could be achieved.

Love Left Hanging was the last performance in the pilot month for Upstairs at the Western. It was definitely my favourite play out of the ones I had seen there, I'm glad I had the opportunity to photograph it!

It was about a year ago when I started the initial work for this project with Curve theatre, to celebrate their 5th birthday in autumn 2013. I have been focusing on the community and all of the extra work and activities that happen outside of the major productions.

I have produced a series of individual portraits and this is one of many of my FINAL pieces of work for the project! I have loved working with both the staff at Curve and the many people that take part in the different activities that are put on. When the project is completely finished there will be a full portfolio of the photographs on my website, so keep an eye out.
