I hope no one takes offence at the content of this image. I just had to giggle when I uploaded this photo and saw what I saw. I guess some flowers just don't like having their pictures taken!
Yes this photo was photoshopped but only to adjust the contrast and add the text. The actual flower and all its parts are exactly as photographed. I have copied the original image below.

What a steamy night for an illumination. It was hot, muggy and there were so many people! Wasn't able to get to a really good spot so this is the best shot of the night. Kudos and a big THANKS to all the volunteers who make these illuminations possible!

I really, really, really do NOT like the new layout. Too facebooky for me. In fact it's totally like facebook! I want the classic view back! This is not enjoyable to view anymore which saddens me greatly after 7 wonderful years here! :o(

Here's a tip I found that will take you to a page similar to the classic view. I changed my bookmark from www.flickr.com/photos/jennzworld/ to www.flickr.com/photos/jennzworld/?details=1 and the page now looks like the classic view. You can also get the same view if you click on the EDIT tab just below your user name on the cluttered up home page. Of course there's still all the learning curve of how to add to sets and groups, Fav a photo etc which is very user Unfriendly but a least it looks more normal and less cluttered.

That said I'm still checking out other photo sharing options...sad to say! :o(

Not certain if this is a juvenile Rose-breasted Grosbeak. I wasn't quick enough for the shot but it was flapping its wings and asking a White-crowned Sparrow for food at the bird feeders at Rondeau Provincial Park, Morpeth, Ontario, Canada.

Not a very clear image taken at Rondeau Provincial Park, Ontario Canada. I have checked my book and I think this is a Wood Thrush based on the heavy spotting on the belly.

Thanks flickr Bird Identification Help Group for confirming my identification. I only wish I had a better image as this is another lifer for me!
