Well I dropped my trusty 17-40L lens a few days ago and it now has a dent outside. As you could imagine I was quite traumatized by that accident and didn't want to take photos for a while (several days LOL) but I thought I should check out if my lens is still performing ok. Looks like it works just fine! Relieved and now I'm feeling good!

5D + 17-40L (@19mm, F9) + Hitech 4 stop GND + CPL, 338 sec exposure.

The light made this shot extremely contrasty, I'm not complaining.

- Noise reduction in DPP, set picture style to Normal (shot in landscape mode)
- Export to Photoshop
- Leveling the horizon and distortion correction using PTLens plug-in
- Curves adjustment - to reduce a little patch of blown highlight on water
- Resizing to 1.6X of final resolution for web presentation (eg, 853 X 1280)
- Filter-> Sharpen ->Sharpen, Filter ->Sharpen ->Smart Sharpen ( 100%, 0.2 )
- Final Resizing to ( 533 X 800 )
