I like this picture because of the way it looks like Walt and Mickey are smiling and laughing. This was taken with an ultra wide angle lens, which is why the castle looks so far away. Also, this is one of the first pictures I took with this lens, and I had to crop a LOT out of the picture to get it where I wanted it.

If you've never seen this parade float - it is quite impressive. Very tough to photograph though. This shot could be better, but it's the best I got of her...

Who doesn't take this shot every time they walk under Cinderella Castle?? Yes, it's been done many, many times, but what's one more?

Color saturation received a healthy boost in RAW conversion because I like vivid colors... exposure comp, highlights and shadows adjustment as well. Noise reduction in Noise Ninja...

So, in my 2-3 years since becoming an absolute Disney photography junkie, I've seen some absolutely aMAZing shot of Wishes! This is obviously not one of them. Not that the shot is terrible - but it's not as good as it could be. Well, not even really close to as good as it could be. First off I didn't have a tripod, which in my opinion is really essential when taking fireworks shots to get the exposure right. Second, I only had one hand to shoot with, because the other was holding my 4 year old daughter Anna. I'm amazed that I was actually able to get one decent shot without too much camera shake. And then this guy came and stood RIGHT in front of me. UUGGHHH. Oh not to mention my wife yelling at me every 10 seconds "WOULD YOU STOP TAKING PICTURES?!?". Needless to say I didn't get many keepers.

Not real infrared - post process in Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. I don't know enough about infrared photography to know if this looks right - but I like the way it looks nonetheless.
