Went paddling at nearby Chester Woods Park again late yesterday. Got some eagle shots (that I'll probably share eventually) plus some landscapes. The lake was perfection calm -- except for the ripples from my canoe. I noticed the interesting reflections and decided to make the most of them!

Tonight, I went canoeing at nearby Chester Lake, a favorite haunt of mine. The cloud formations were awesome. The lake was up about 10 feet thanks to all the recent rains.

Last Thursday (June 19) in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Exploring the sea caves area on the mainland near Meyer's Beach. Someone mentioned it was like Arches National Park only with water. Very accurate description.

Just got back yesterday from a quick trip to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in northern Wisconsin. Thursday and Friday, I visited the caves area along the lakshore by kayak. It's kind of like Arches National Park but with water! :)

I have many photos to process and share from the area.

Many thanks to the good folk at Trek n Trail in Bayfield, WI for taking good care of me!

Back to vacation photos. The evening of May 11, my brother-in-law and I took a quick tour of the Colorado National Monument as the sun was slowly sinking, lighting up the rock walls.

I'm back home now. S-I-L and B-I-L are back in England. She's in a hospital there getting the care she needs. Was an interesting "vacation" to say the least.
