so we went and bent the rules a bit,
you asked and i will try to answer ..

1. i am ’normally’ in interior decorating and am working on a new
exciting project that will launch this spring.
to make a long story shorter;
3000 m² old factory with workshop for restoring 1800, - & 1900th century furniture,
studios ( ao photostudio for me ), exhibition hall, café & an interior design shop;
selling the vintage furniture,
danish details, fresh cut flowers & details for the home etc.

2. i’m a big fan of british caper films like ’snatch’ & ’lock, stock and two smoking barrels’.
i like movies about heists in general ( ’the usual suspects’ is a favourite ) & mafia
movies in particular. i also have a soft spot for italian film; as i am raised on movies
like fellini's ’amarcord’ & tornatore's ’cinema paradiso’.
.. as you can see i have a really hard time just picking one !

3. books & authors is another one that is impossible for me to narrow down
to one favourite. i love to read and i go into periods where i completely dissapear
into that magic world. i find i enjoy different authors in new ways as life goes on.
at the moment i am completely stuck on françoise sagan; amazed by that
’bonjour tristesse’ was written & published when she was eighteen years old.
her pseudonym was taken from a character in marcel proust's
’à la recherche du temps perdu’ and proust is another of my favourites.

4. i will bend the rules a bit further and pick the wide concept of ’images’
as an answer to what inspires me most. because i’ve been one to love, ~ &
think in images for as long as i can remember and then an image can be so
much; a movie still, a book cover, another photo, a cd-cover, a magazine ad,
or simply a moment you remember; an inner image.

5. my family & my best friend always make me laugh.
and this man.

6. you guys are killing me with these amazing questions that are so
hard to answer. if i have to pick one song that makes me melt..
it has to be this for extremely personal reasons of both strong love
& heartbreaking death. it takes me right back to a grey london;
rain wet black cars, the scent of white lilies and salty tears & a truth that
sometimes things happen & the world is never the same again.

7. sometimes it scares me not to put textures over my photos; selfportraits
in particular. but i am one to always try things that scare me. look up.
( and i have a set slowly forming .. )

8. i love photography with every fiber of my being. i can’t even understand
i wasn’t doing it about a year ago & i can’t imagine my life without it.
what happens from here we’ll see. i’ve been contacted by ’getty images’ &
’trevillion images’ and that makes me so happy. also, as i wrote about above;
i’ll be getting a small studio this spring & most of all; i have so much to learn !
to be able to do only photography is a dream and i believe in magic.

9. from my window i see children from all corners of the world; playing
together in the soft shadows of chestnut trees.
