This is a image from my local exhibition at the spring arts and heritage centre in Havant. It is from a collection called 'Moments in time' There is 8 images in this collection and they all mark points of Havants' interest in it's history through my personal view!

This image 'Watercress Boy' is a image linked back to Havant's watercress industry which was thriving during the turn on the century, it was picked by locals and then exported.

It was grown along the natural springs and It covered so much local water back then but now you can still see a bit of it's growth in the spring of Park road south.

There is another 7 in the collection visit for more info on my work

This is a image from a wedding I shot the weekend. I don't shoot weddings no more but the bride is a very old friend and she asked me to shoot her wedding for her. I was very honoured to do it indeed. The day way beautiful the venue was stunning and the people where just great. I said to the bride and groom I had an conceptual love image for them using my famous lantern. I swear this is the last time I am going to use it, ;-)

I idea was the husband protecting his beautiful bride in all conditions for life, light and in the dark. The strong arm around you is so important in life. I send the image to the bride last night and she was so amazed by the out come. She wants to see the rest of the days images, they are just as good!

I spend a lot of time and care on this image and I think it has turned out well!

I watched the amazing documentary about Richard III skeleton being found int a car park in Leicester uk. The program moved not just as a history lover but as for the lost empathy he had which was distorted by the Tudors. The repeated wounds to his head left a mark on me. The way he died and the love he had had for his crown and honor was lost and twisted. Until now know now one new the truth about his death and persona but this amazing discovery has opened a new chapter. This image I have made in inspiration from this story is a story for me to express that not everyone from the outside know a person true persona. some times you just have to open up and look inside.

I got out this morning for a spot of colour hunting. The forecast last night for cloud cover was 100% so I had no plans for heading out. But I woke early any how and check the sky as I always do and I saw a brake on the horizon. As you nature is full so surprises so I headed out to a spot I found a few weeks back. I just caught the colour after getting stuck in traffic on the route over. It was soooo good to feel the -2 temp and the warmth of the winter sun. The colour was the cherry on the cake for me.
