CCI Bowls Night Cake 2013

This cake was made for my work's annual Bowls Night event. It is a night that we organise to say "thank you" to our suppliers for all their hard work during the year.

We have had a lot of changes at work, including a massive rebranding exercise.

As part of the this change, I was asked to make the Bowls Night cake; the brief I had was to incorporate the Dodo bird, and the new logo and colours of the organisation.

This is the end result.

The dodo bird and logo was printed and cut out by the lovely Barb at Ninny & Goggle;

The flowers are all handmade and reflective of the colours in the new brand.

A fun night was had by all.....

Congratulations to Phil and Jenna who celebrated their wedding at the gorgeous International Reception in Brighton

The top tier is a white chocolate mudcake layered with white chocolate ganache.

The remaining tiers are marbled mud layered with alternating layers of white and dark chocolate ganache.

All tiers are covered in white fondant and shimmered with a pearl lustre.
