About as full of a load as I'd want to carry on the bike if everything were full. The panniers and gas-cans are actually empty, which I appreciated as I was bringing the spare tires home from Bob's.

And my trim-job with the dremel was just enough on the right. Of course I forgot that the bag on the left side sits about an inch closer to the bike, so I'm going to have to trim that side a second time.

The Cogent Dynamics "Moab" shock and spring installed in my bike. Freezing rain was coming down as I was taking the photo so I kinda hurried things. I'll get a better photo when the weather is nicer.

I added a milk crate to the rear of my motorcycle for hauling stuff home from work or the grocery store, rather than needing to run with the side-boxes on all the time. It's not completely done (I still need to weatherproof the masonite board that holds it in place), but it's functional.

Went for a ride today and saw that a bunch of the numbers on the odometer were the same. Not bad for six months of riding.

Home, up Central / Hwy 65 then 107 to 23 to Hinckley. Across to Danbury, WI. Gandy Dancer Trail north to Harliss Road in Nemadji State Forest, then west to Nickerson. Lunch in Duquette, then pounding some slab south to Beroun, where I got on 61. Took that until Harris, where I headed east to Sunrise. Then River Road to Wild River State Park. South to Center City, through Forest Lake, and back home. 284 miles, not quite 8 hours elapsed.

In Wisconsin just north of Danbury on the Gandy Dancer Trail (just south of the St. Croix River). It's almost like a gravel road at this point, but gets a lot more like a single-track when you get near the northern end of it up in Nemadji.

Lloyd and I pulled over on the side of this gravel road to wipe the dust off the GPSes and stretch a little. Figured we'd better take a picture, but somehow I got my iPhone in movie mode, so here's a frame from that movie, rather than the picture I wanted to take.
