Big audience for the firework display at Sydney Vivid festival in the rocks.

The fireworks were white lights lit up. They had a few on then sometimes a lot.

This area was completely dark but when the white fireworks were on the light from them lit up the crowd. Some of the shots of the crowd were too kark but this one was when the fireworks were shedding a lot of light onto the crowd.

I noticed it so turned from the fireworks to take this shot!!

The whole area around the Opera house and circular quay and the rocks was completely packed with people. There was two weeks of crowds turning out at night.

In Sydney outdoor events are very popular and any events in the CBD are heavily attended. I spoke to others in the crowd and found people who travelled interstate especially for the Vivid Festival.

It's autumn in the Southern Hemisphere now.

As well as the toilet flushing the opposite way the seasons are also reversed!!

I was out early taking pictures of the planets and as I was up this day and the leaves were all gold and the sunlight was shining through, the leaves looked fantastic in the light.
So thanks for those who made the nice comments appreciating this image!

Windy sunrise on Garie Beach. The waves splashes high on the rock against the sunrise.

Garie Beach is south of Sydney in the National Park Woolongong area.
