It's autumn in the Southern Hemisphere now.

As well as the toilet flushing the opposite way the seasons are also reversed!!

I was out early taking pictures of the planets and as I was up this day and the leaves were all gold and the sunlight was shining through, the leaves looked fantastic in the light.
So thanks for those who made the nice comments appreciating this image!

Whilst these are very popular in Sydney, the problems of shooting them are that mostly they are too from the front path to photograph in peoples gardens. So I had to hunt around for ones well placed so I can get pictures at different angles.

The species vary too and some area already nearly finished flowering and others have not started yet, and they make different shapes according to which variety. So I was wandering around the area trying to find suitable ones to photograph as they are soon over the flowering period!!!
