Just a fun self-portrait at Shibuya's famous intersection. Used a slow-ish shutter to turn the crowds of pedestrians crossing the intersection into blurs, while I tried standing as still as possible.

Probably the last photo I'll be posting from the Easter Monday shoot at Curwee Cove near La Perouse, Sydney. My last shot from the day. It had gotten so dark by then that it was hard finding the path back to the car. But not to worry, we got back safe and sound :)

Amazing how shutter speed can totally change an image. A long exposure turned the violent waves into gentle mist.

72 sec exposure with 3-stop hard ND grad filter.

Discovered this gem of a photo spot yesterday. Very cool cliffs and rocks, battered with powerful waves, and a seaside pool.

30 sec exposure with 3-stop hard ND grad filter.

2 minute exposure for the smooth water and cloud movement.

When downloading pics at the end of the day, I was mortified to discover that I left my camera on jpg mode instead of my usual RAW+jpg... shock! horror! So, I had to make due with the jpgs... Lesson learned, always check your settings before a shoot!

The exceptionally bright full-moon illuminating the sea and cliffs at the Gap Park at Watsons Bay. The energetic waves created interesting patterns on the water. I like how the cliffs and the patterns made by the waves appear to bend towards the glow of the moon like some kind of magic force.

Location: The Gap Park at Watsons Bay in Sydney, Australia.

My good buddy JaseNZ was back in town, so we organised a bit of a photo excursion. This time, Jase, my brother Gabriel, and myself headed out to Watsons Bay. We arrived a bit late, as the sun just dipped below the horizon. This still made for some beautiful light, followed by blue hour. A bright full moon also made for interesting conditions.
